I don’t think Santorini is really involved in this whole thing, but it’s weird that we were just over there.

My main desktop lost its internet connection tonight. After much trouble shooting, I had pin pointed it down to something to do with the latest Windows update. Luckily, System Restore brought me back to just before the latest update… Then I found this:

So if any of you Windows users out there also use Zone Alarm firewall, don’t update yet, or rollback your updates if you suddenly don’t have an internet connection… but then, how are you reading this?

Kathleen and I are currently reading Neuromancer in our “book club,” and I’m really enjoying it. So I was reading some stuff about William Gibson and came across this (iMDB).  So far they only have one actor signed on, Hayden Christensen, as Case no less.  I don’t think I’ve ever been more disappointed with a casting decision. And the director looks less than promising as well.

There was a lot of damage to buildings in the the area. Here are some pictures of the building across the street from Kathleen’s office:
