Saw The Dark Knight today with Kathleen… Amazing. Can we all just agree to pretend that those previous Batman movies don’t exist (not counting the original 60’s version of course)?
I haven’t been to the theatre to see a movie in a very long time. Spent $30 (why I never go), and it was completely worth it. Although, we almost watched it from 10ft away from the screen, in which case I probably would have hated it. Luckily Kathy suggested we just walk over to the next screen which was starting 30 minutes later (thank you…) , where we promptly went to the top row of seats.
I know it’s completely crazy… but I’m really hoping that conspiracy theory about Heath Ledger faking his death is true…

So I called up comcast today to scale down some of my cable, then I realize I’m paying about $17 extra per month for basically one channel. So I got rid of everything except basic cable and HD, and I subscribed to netflix. Which means I will be watching lots of movies now, and having a weekly movie night. I’m not sure what night I’m going to do it on yet, but if you’re interested in coming, leave a suggestion.
Also, Kathleen and I finally watched Amelie the other night. We may be two of the last people to see it… We both liked it of course. However, last night we went with Liz and Matthew to a free screening of Penelope, which wasn’t quite as good.
Then we watched the eclipse. I took a couple pictures, but I don’t think they’re going to come out. I’ll post em if they do.
