Ajax

I’m currently learning Ajax, and I finally re-wrote my calendar in it so now you can look ahead to see what’s coming up in the next few months (or years… although I don’t plan to update it that far in advance) or you can look back at previous events. Let me know if you find any bugs with it, or how you like it. It is a little slow at first right now. I will be fixing that, as well as a few other back-end things that won’t be noticeable.

And so it begins…

It’s the first Monday of the first full week of the year. I just hope I’m doing something I love by the end of the year. Maybe that will be my new year’s resolution.

I started the year out on a good note. Kathy and I went down to Newnan Saturday and played Music trivia (that “good note” line wasn’t an intended pun) at one of my old favorite local pizza places with Brent, Alexis, Eric, and Kelly. We got first place of course, as well as a $40 gift card.

The Holidays

The past two weeks have been so busy and so fun. I had a five day weekend followed by a four day weekend, and I only used two vacation days.

On the 21st, we went to Misti’s birthday party which was a lot of fun. Then I went down to Newnan for a couple of days. Then I played Guitar Hero 3 for a couple of days. On Sunday, went bowling with Kathy, Brent, Alexis, James, Eric, Kelly, and Maura, then Misti came over and we watched Blood Car… James and I got a little crazy that night and didn’t go to sleep until after 5am. Then we all got up and walked to breakfast at the Majestic. We celebrated New Year’s Eve over at a Liz and Matthew’s house. We met a lot of new people, and got to see Brian and Leah who we hadn’t seen in months.

On January 1st, Kathy and I went to what is becoming our traditional New Year’s Day lunch… Indian buffet. And then James came over again. I’m glad we got to see him so much before he heads back to Scotland.

And now I’m back at work, but at least it’s another short week.
